How RFID Blocking Works
RFID blocking products contain a Faraday cage — a layer of conductive metal mesh (typically aluminum or copper) that absorbs and redirects electromagnetic waves. When your contactless card is inside the shield, an external reader cannot power up the card's chip, so no data exchange occurs.
